Russo Power Equipment opens in former Elgin Wal-Mart site
The former Wal-Mart site along Randall Road has a new tenant. The 118,000-square-foot building at Randall Road and Royal had been vacant since 2012, when the Wal-Mart closed and moved into a new building in Elgin.
This newest Russo store location on Randall Rd. is their sixth retail location in the Chicagoland area and was selected due to its proximity to Route 20 and I-90, which makes it easy to travel to. Russo has identified Elgin as a wonderful area for their newest store that will also serve as their ecommerce headquarters. Russo's doors soft opened a couple weeks ago, but many are already using the new location along Randall Road.
The public is invited to attend the store's grand opening celebration on August 18 from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. It will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials, as well as customer specials, giveaways, raffles, and demonstrations. There will also be entertainment, food, and more.
Russo Power Equipment has continued to be family owned and operated since opening on Chicago’s Northwest side in 1970. Russo separates itself from other power equipment dealerships by being able to provide a vast selection of equipment parts, has an award-winning service department, as well as top-notch specialists in each department, including arbor and turf. With such a wide range of commercial and residential power equipment for all seasons, Russo Power Equipment has you covered all year round.
