Russo Power Equipment to open in former Frankfort Gas City Buildings

While most small businesses have contracted in recent years, Russo Power Equipment is expanding. Making Frankfort the home of their fifth power equipment store and warehouse, at 21660 and 21700 S. LaGrange Road. The new store will revamp the old Gas City buildings to be completely renovated inside and out. The plans include adding a new front façade on the 21660 building, which will serve as the main commercial retail location, as well as transforming the 21700 building into an outdoor storage area.

Since opening on Chicago’s Northwest side in 1970, Russo Power Equipment has evolved from a neighborhood hardware store into a premier power equipment and landscape supply dealers. Russo is family owned and takes great pride in their 40 years of growth built on excellent customer service, a vast selection of parts, and top-notch specialists in each department. 

With this newest location in Frankfort, Russo now has five locations, a salt distribution site, and an e-commerce website (RussoPower.com). The dealership is highly regarded in the industry for representing a wide selection of top brands including Bob-Cat, Echo, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, Kubota, Stihl and Toro. 

Russo Power Equipment: Frankfort will host a grand opening celebration on November 19, 2014 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. These festivities will take place at the new store located at 21660 South La Grange Road, Frankfort, IL 60423.
