Duplex Seal provides compressive force from the thread cap that applies concentrated pressure at two key sealing points. Both the cap and body are recessed to hold the compression gasket, and fluid is prevented from entering the cap’s thread cavity. 

Couplings can be quickly installed between butted pipe ends without the need for extra clearance. Just slide the coupling fully over one pipe, realign the ends, center it, and tighten the nuts.
